Packaging Beauty Intern
We are looking for a Packaging Beauty Intern to join our Research & Development – Packaging Development team in our Beauty division based in Calenzano (FI).
How you make the difference
This position is crucial for Bolton because R&D team has the ownership to boost innovations and to contribute to develop a competitive position in the market. You will be focusing on all aspects of packaging: materials, functionality, cost-effectiveness, sustainability and quality, from sourcing to end of life.
How your agenda looks like:
- Draw up and review technical specifications for packaging components in order to create a complete database for company needs: technical evaluation, savings, improve sustainability rate of current packaging portfolio, tax declaration, etc.
- Interface with marketing and purchasing departments to understand brief and product needs and interface with suppliers and third parties to define product characteristics and specifications
- Scout and propose innovative packaging solutions, evaluating their technical feasibility
- Develop new primary and secondary packaging, as required from time to time by project briefs
Your team:
You will collaborate with the R&D Beauty and you will be supported by your tutor.
What makes you a great fit:
- Education: degree in Mechanical or Material or Chemical Engineering, Food Science and Technology or similar
- Work Experience: experience in luxury, pharma or beauty (especially make up) is welcome, but not necessary
- Technical Skills: knowledge of the Office tools, in particular Excel, and the main 2D/3D design software.
- Languages: excellent command of Italian and English
- Soft skills: we are searching for someone who is capable of organizing work in a methodical and rigorous manner, who is easy-going, dynamic and cooperative in team work, a problem solver.
