Voor onze productielocatie in Goes (NL) zijn we op zoek naar een Shiftleader om ons team bij Bolton Adhesives te versterken.

Hoe jij het verschil maakt

Als Shiftleader ben jij verantwoordelijk voor het realiseren van de geplande productie met de juiste kwaliteit. Je zorgt voor een optimale inzet van medewerkers, machines, materialen en methodes. Daarnaast speel je een sleutelrol in het waarborgen van veiligheid, continu verbeteren van processen en het motiveren van je team.

Hoe je agenda eruitziet:

• Productie realiseren:
  Organiseren en coördineren van productieactiviteiten, delegeren van taken en verantwoordelijkheden en het bewaken, bijsturen en evalueren van productieresultaten.
• Leidinggeven en Motiveren:
  Aansturen, coachen en ontwikkelen van productieteams (25–35 FTE en 10–15 flexkrachten), voeren van functioneringsgesprekken en zorgdragen voor personeelszaken zoals verlof, urenverantwoording en ziekteverzuim.
• Inzicht en rapportage:
  Vastleggen en rapporteren van productie- en procesgegevens, signaleren van bijzonderheden en zorgen voor een goede overdracht bij ploegwisselingen.
• Veiligheid & compliance:
  Toezien op naleving van veiligheids-, Arbo- en milieuvoorschriften, signaleren en oplossen van afwijkingen en het stimuleren van veiligheidsbewust gedrag binnen het team.
• Procesverbetering:
  Initiëren en begeleiden van procesverbeteringen en projecten, van planvorming tot implementatie.

Jij weet de juiste mensen op de juiste plek te zetten. Door jouw enthousiasme en motiverende aanpak haal je het beste uit medewerkers en zorg je voor teams die goed op elkaar zijn afgestemd en optimaal presteren.

Je team:

Je rapporteert aan de Site Director, maakt deel uit van het Site Management Team en geeft direct leiding aan de productieteams binnen jouw ploeg. Je werkt nauw samen met andere Shiftleaders en ondersteunende afdelingen om de productie soepel te laten verlopen.

Wat maakt jou een goede match?

• • Opleiding: HBO werk- en denkniveau
  • Ervaring: 5+ jaar leidinggevende ervaring binnen grotere productie-teams.
  • Competenties: Leidinggeven (operationeel en taakgericht), plannen en organiseren, probleemoplossend vermogen, overtuigingskracht, initiatief en een sterk veiligheidsbewustzijn.
  • Talen: Nederlands en Engels
  • Persoonlijkheid: Je bent besluitvaardig, communicatief sterk en weet mensen te motiveren, te enthousiasmeren en mee te nemen in veranderingen.

For our production site in Goes (NL), we are looking for a Shiftleader to strengthen our team at Bolton Adhesives. 

How you make the difference

As a Shiftleader, you are responsible for achieving the planned production targets with the required quality standards. You ensure the optimal deployment of employees, machines, materials, and methods. In addition, you play a key role in ensuring safety, continuously improving processes, and motivating your team. 

How your agenda looks like:

• Delivering production results:
  Organising and coordinating production activities, delegating tasks and responsibilities, and monitoring, adjusting, and evaluating production performance.
• Leading the team:
  Managing, coaching, and developing production teams (25–35 FTE and 10–15 temporary employees), conducting performance reviews, and handling personnel matters such as leave, time registration, and absenteeism.
• Insight and reporting:
  Recording and reporting production and process data, identifying deviations, and ensuring a smooth handover during shift changes.
• Safety & compliance:
  Ensuring compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations, identifying and resolving deviations, and promoting safe working behaviour within the team.
• Process improvement:
  Initiating and leading process improvements and projects, from planning through to implementation.

Your team:

You report to the Site Director, are part of the Site Management Team, and directly manage the production teams within your shift. You work closely with other Shiftleaders and support departments to ensure smooth production operations.

What makes you a great fit:

• Education: Bachelor’s level (HBO) or equivalent
• Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience within larger production teams
• Competencies: Operational and task-oriented leadership, planning and organising skills, problem-solving ability, influencing skills, initiative, and a strong safety mindset
• Languages: Dutch and English
• Personality: Decisive, communicative, and able to motivate, inspire, and guide people through change
