Maintenance Engineer

Bolton Food Spain is looking for brilliant candidates to cover the position of Maintenance Engineer, a position entirely dedicated to for designing, planning, and supervising the annual preventive maintenance plan, ensuring the operational efficiency of equipment and facilities. Additionally, he/she will coordinate mandatory legal inspections and promote continuous improvement in processes and workflows, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

 

What are you going to do:

 

You will be actively part of our dynamic and potential team of Maintenance, being in charge of:

 

  • Design and planning of preventive maintenance: Develop and manage the annual preventive maintenance plan, ensuring its proper execution and alignment with operational needs.
  • Creation and updating of maintenance procedures: Define preventive maintenance standards and include audit checklists structured similarly to manufacturing orders.
  • Supervision of mandatory legal inspections: Monitor and follow up on regulatory inspections of critical equipment (such as autoclaves), ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Continuous improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in maintenance processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Team training management: Coordinate and track the training plan to develop the technical skills of mechanics, ensuring their continuous improvement.
  • Participation in daily management meetings (DMS): Attend and contribute to daily management meetings, reporting progress, incidents, and improvement proposals.

 

What we are searching for:

 

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering (preferred);
  • Proficiency in Suite Office (Word, Power Point, Excel), the knowledge of Power BI is preferred;
  • Knowledge of AUTOCAD;
  • Proficient in Spanish and in English, other languages such as French or Italian will be positively valued;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to plan his/her own work according to priorities and urgencies;
  • A methodical problem solver and a detailed-oriented professional, dedicated to ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement and excellence in execution;
  • A proactive and fast learner keen to evolve, challenging himself/herself daily in order to reach excellence and focus on customers and stakeholders satisfaction;
  • A fully accountable and an effective communicator, able to instill trust and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • A dynamic, resilient and flexible professional capable to adapt swiftly and manage a fast moving and demanding environment.

 

This position will require a constant presence in plant.
