(Senior) Accountant (m/f/d)

Wir suchen einen Mitarbeiter für unser Finance-Team in Meerbusch-Osterath, um als Teil der Bolton Group unsere Position im deutschen Markt zu stärken.

Wie du dich einbringen kannst

In dieser Aufgabe bist du verantwortlich für die umfassende Überwachung und Steuerung der finanziellen Buchhaltung, Abschlussprozesse und Berichterstattung, um die finanzielle Integrität und Effizienz des Unternehmens sicherzustellen.

So sehen deine Hauptaufgaben aus:

• Verantwortung für die laufende Buchhaltung (Debitoren, Kreditoren, Sachkonten), Zahlungsverkehr, Umsatzsteuerwesen, Kontenpflege, Kontenabstimmung, einschließlich internationaler/intercompany Aktivitäten
• Mitarbeit an periodengerechten Abschlüssen (Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschluss) nach HGB; Sicherstellung korrekter Abgrenzungen und Rückstellungen
• Mitarbeit am Gruppen-Reporting, insbesondere im Rahmen der Quartals- und Jahresabschlüsse
• Zusammenarbeit mit Controlling, IT und operativen Teams, um Datenqualität, Transparenz und Effizienz sicherzustellen
• Mitwirkung bei der Einführung neuer Tools, Automatisierungen des ERP-Systems, bspw. Vertiefung digitaler Workflows
• Ansprechpartner für Steuerberater in Verbindung mit dem F&A Manager und Begleiten von internen und externen Prüfungen

Dein Team:

Du arbeitest im Finance-Team und berichtest an den F&A Manager.

Was dich zu einer idealen Besetzung macht:

• Mindestens 2 – 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Finanzbuchhaltung, idealerweise in der FMCG-Branche / Handel
• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung; spezifische Weiterbildungen (gepr. Finanzbuchhalter / Bilanzbuchhalter) sind von Vorteil
• Sicherer Umgang mit ERP-Systemen und sehr gute Kenntnisse der MS-Office Programme (Kenntnisse in Microsoft Dynamics Navision BC von Vorteil)
• Ausgeprägtes Verständnis für Warenwirtschaftsprozesse und deren buchhalterische Auswirkungen.
• Internationale Kompetenz, bestenfalls schriftlicher und mündlicher Austausch in Englisch
• Ausgeprägte analytische Denkweise sowie strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Ausgeprägte Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Teamorientierung

(Senior) Accountant (m/f/d)

We are looking for an employee to join our Finance Team in Meerbusch-Osterath to help strengthen our position in the German market as part of the Bolton Group.

How you make the difference

In this role, you will be responsible for the comprehensive oversight and management of financial accounting, closing processes, and reporting to ensure the company’s financial integrity and efficiency.

How your agenda looks like:

• Responsibility for day-to-day accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger), payment transactions, sales tax, account maintenance, and account reconciliation, including international/intercompany activities
• Collaboration on period-based financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual) in accordance with HGB; Ensuring correct accruals and provisions
• Contributing to group reporting, particularly in the context of quarterly and annual financial statements
• Collaborating with Controlling, IT, and operational teams to ensure data quality, transparency, and efficiency
• Participating in the implementation of new tools and automations within the ERP system, e.g., enhancing digital workflows
• Serve as the point of contact for tax advisors in coordination with the F&A Manager and assist with internal and external audits

Your team:

You will work in the Finance team and report to the F&A Manager.

What makes you a great fit:

• At least 2–5 years of professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in the FMCG industry or retail
• Completed commercial training
• Proficiency with ERP systems and very good knowledge of MS Office programs (knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision BC is a plus)
• Strong understanding of inventory management processes and their accounting implications
• International competence, ideally with the ability to communicate in English both in writing and verbally
• Strong analytical mindset and a structured approach to work
• Excellent communication skills
