Area Manager Sell-Out
We are looking for a Area Manager Sell-Out – North East Italy to join our Sales Team at Bolton Food.
How you make the difference
As a Sell-Out Area Manager, you will drive the performance of the sell-out team in the North East area, ensuring effective coordination of the Sales Marketing Representatives (SMR) and monitoring key KPIs to maximize execution in store. You will play a key role in translating commercial strategies into operational excellence, supporting the team in achieving ambitious sell-out targets while strengthening relationships with retail partners.
How your agenda looks like:
- Lead, coach and coordinate the SMR Sell-Out team in the North East area, ensuring alignment with company priorities and targets
- Monitor and analyse sell-out performance and key KPIs, identifying improvement opportunities and defining action plans
- Conduct regular field visits and joint store visits with the SMR team, providing on-the-job coaching and ensuring excellence in in-store execution
- Ensure excellent in-store execution, including visibility, promotions, assortment and display compliance
- Support the implementation of commercial and trade marketing initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Provide regular performance feedback and coaching to the team to foster professional growth and accountability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners in the territory
- Report on results and market insights to the Sell-Out Manager, contributing to the continuous improvement of sales strategies
Your team:
You will report to the Sell-Out Manager and lead the North East SMR Sell-Out team, serving as a key reference point for team coordination, performance management, and field execution, while working closely with various departments including Sales, Trade Marketing, and Marketing.
What makes you a great fit:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Economics, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in sales roles, preferably within FMCG or other fast-paced and demanding environments, with previous experience in team coordination or people management.
- Mobility, i.e., willingness and availability to travel frequently within the assigned area.
- Language: Italian (required); proficiency in English is also essential;
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
- Proven ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs and drive performance improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a results-oriented mindset and focus on execution
