Capacity Planning & Initiatives Manager

We are looking for a Capacity Planning & Initiatives Manager to join our Supply Chain Team based in Milan, Italy.

 

How you make the difference

The position will play a crucial role in supporting our Supply Chain Team and you will be responsible for leading the governance of Bolton Food PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) project portfolio. This role acts as the operational arm of PLM, providing visibility and prioritization across a wide range of product-related initiatives, from product innovation to continuous improvement.

 

The Supply Chain Initiatives Planner plays a critical role in ensuring cross-functional alignment, enabling effective decision-making and supporting E2E teamwork in the execution of projects.

 

How your agenda looks like:

  • Lead and manage the governance process of the PLM project portfolio.
  • Provide visibility on initiative status and key milestones to support decision-making and prioritization.
  • Ensure strategic alignment and execution feasibility of all key product-related initiatives from a supply chain perspective.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, focusing on On Time (OT) and Time To Market (TTM) KPIs.
  • Work with cross-functional teams including Marketing, R&D, Industrial Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Sustainability.
  • Facilitate E2E collaboration to ensure timely project execution.
  • Identify risks and bottlenecks, proactively proposing corrective actions.
  • Support continuous improvement and standardization of project execution processes.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of the PLM process and actively support the adoption of the PLM tool across the organization.

You will report directly to the Supply Chain Strategic Planning & Initiative Manager

 

What makes you a great fit:

  • Education: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Management Engineering or related field.
  • Work Experience: 5 years of experience in supply chain planning and/or project management;
  • Language: Proficiency in Italian and English is required, Spanish is nice to have;
  • Ability to contribute to complex projects with multiple stakeholders;
  • Ability to lead multiple projects;
  • Experience in change management and digital tool adoption is a plus;
  • Communication and leadership: strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and communicate effectively across different levels of the organization;
  • Problem solving approach: capable of identifying root causes, proposing actionable solutions.
