Fixed Income Specialist

We are looking for a Fixed Income Specialist to join our Investment team at the Holding Company of Bolton, based in Milan.

How you make the difference

This position is important as you will contribute to the effective management and growth of select portfolios, working closely with the CIO and portfolio managers. You will play a key role in analyzing investments across various asset classes, with a primary focus on fixed income.

How your agenda looks like:

• Investments: Collaborate closely with the CIO to analyze new investment opportunities across a variety of asset classes, including but not limited to investment-grade corporate bonds, government securities, and inflation-linked bonds. High Yield, leveraged loans and emerging markets debt are part of the investable universe via funds and direct investments according to the candidate experience. Additionally, you’ll manage a cash-plus portfolio.
• Monitoring: Track portfolio performance and underlying investments, ensuring adherence to the Investment Committee's strategy and guidelines. Maintain databases and monitoring files, and prepare quarterly investment reports.
• Research: Conduct research on the macro environment under the supervision of the CIO and PMs. As part of a relatively small team, you’ll also support due diligence and monitoring of funds across other asset classes as needed.

You’ll directly report to our CIO – Chief Investment Officer and you will be part of a dynamic team that covers a wide range of asset classes and financial products.

What makes you a great fit:

• Education: Degree in Finance/Investments with strong academic credential.
• Work Experience: 5-7+ years of experience working on a Multi Assets Portfolio with a focus on Fixed Income Assets or a Global Diversified Fixed income portfolio, within Asset Management, Institutional Family Office or Wealth Management companies.
• Technical Skills:
  - Knowledge of the major financial instruments with special focus on fixed income
  - Strong knowledge of Advanced Excel, Bloomberg and PowerPoint. VBA is considered a strong plus
• Available and keen to travel for international business trips if required
• Local language: Fluent in Italian & English.
