Stakeholder Engagement Intern
We are looking for Stakeholder Engagement Intern to join our Sustainable Development Team based in Milan.
How you make the difference
This internship is key to strengthening Bolton’s stakeholder engagement and ESG governance. The role supports the coordination of external stakeholder engagement initiatives and internal committees —ensuring alignment across functions—and contributes to building internal awareness and readiness on emerging sustainability requirements.
How your agenda looks like:
- Assist in the organization and execution of Stakeholder Roundtables, including participant mapping, content preparation and ensuring flawless delivery.
- Contribute to managing stakeholder relationships, such as trade associations, NGOs and institutional partners, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates.
- Support the internal ESG Regulatory Committee by preparing materials, drafting meeting reports and following up on agreed actions.
- Contribute to the internal Packaging Task Force by supporting internal alignment, gathering information and monitoring regulatory updates on PPWR.
- Support internal engagement activities, by contributing to the development and delivery of training materials on ESG topics and regulatory changes and by helping prepare communication materials to update the organization on ESG roadmap progress and ongoing projects.
Your team:
The intern will report directly to the Sustainable Development Manager.
The role does not include direct or functional reports.
What makes you a great fit:
- Education: Master’s degree in Sustainability, Political Science, Management or related fields.
- Work Experience: Previous internship or project experience in sustainability or public affairs is considered a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to organize and communicate with multiple stakeholders; proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Local language: Italian, proficiency written and spoken in English; any additional language is a plus.
- Strong interest in Sustainability and in EU regulatory frameworks.
