Bolton Food, business unit leader in several countries with quality canned food and meat products (Rio Mare, Simmenthal), is looking for a bright candidate to join us as Supply Planning Assistant (Internship) in our Milan offices.

 

Main Activities

 

Reporting to Supply Planning Manager and being part of our dynamic and multifunctional Supply Chain Team, the resource will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting his/her team in capacity and Inventory Planning for production lines and finished products;
  • Enhancing and fine-tuning our Contractors Planning working flow, improving current tools;
  • KPIs analysis in order to check and be compliant with S&OP Bolton’s process, implementing, whenever it’s possible, new reporting dashboards/tools in order to support the team;
  • Carrying out specific analyses to validate plans feasibility in a medium and long term period;
  • Constant interaction with stakeholders: company’s internal functions (Procurement, Finance, Demand Planning, Industrial, Logistics exc.) and externals, including third-party manufacturers, providers and logistics companies;
  • Supporting crisis mitigation and issue resolution regarding supply chain shortfalls;
  • Identifying and proposing enhancement actions to his/her manager, according to a continuous improvement approach, evaluating their feasibility.

 

What we are looking for

 

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Economics;
  • Good knowledge of IT systems such as Suite OFFICE MS Excel, Office; SAP knowledge will be considered a plus;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to plan his/her own work according to priorities and urgencies;
  • Able to collect and critically interpret data and numbers to ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement and excellence in execution;
  • A proactive and fast learner keen to evolve, challenging himself/herself daily in order to reach excellence and focus on customers and stakeholders satisfaction;
  • A fully accountable and people-oriented team player able to instill trust and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • A dynamic and flexible professional capable to adapt swiftly and manage a fast moving and demanding environment.
