Sustainable Development Intern

We are looking for a Sustainabile Development Intern to join Sustainable Development team in our Home, Personal Care & Beauty business unit based in Italy.

How your agenda looks like:

This position offers the opportunity to support the team in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives within our company. The intern will contribute to ongoing projects related to environmental impact, reporting activities and sustainability strategy, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The selected candidate will be involved in the following activities:

• Benchmarking and data analysis to set sustainability strategies and goals;
• Actively monitor sustainability and environmental trends focusing on best practices in FMCG sector;
• Support the BU Sustainability Team with Group’s reporting activities, working with other departments to collect data;
• Contribute to supervise the environmental footprint of Home & Personal Care products, according to Circular Economy and Life Cycle Assessment criteria;
• Sustain brands like Borotalco, Neutro Roberts, Omia, Citrosil, Omino Bianco and WC Net in developing a strong and reliable sustainability communication
• Create and be a solid partner in engagement activities with employees, suppliers, clients, NGOs, etc.

Your team:

The intern will work closely with the Sustainable Development Team and will collaborate with colleagues from different functions within the Business Unit.

How you look like:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Economics or related fields
• Technical Skills: Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, familiarity with sustainability tools or software (e.g. SimaPro, Quantis) is considered a plus
• Local language: Proficient in Italian and English
