Trade Marketing Intern

We are looking for three bright Trade Marketing Interns to join our Trade Marketing Team in our Food Business Unit based in Milan.

 

How you make the difference

As a Trade Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of trade marketing strategies, assisting with promotional activities, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with sales teams to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth.

 

 

How your agenda looks like:

1°)

  • Supporting the Shelf & Assortment team in planograms implementation;
  • Carrying out Sell-Out/Sell-In analyses in order to gain insights to be shared and reworking databases according to different assigned clients;
  • Checking promotional activities for assigned customers to guarantee consistency between Internal and External Tools
  • Preparing monthly reports, presentations and documents useful to keep track of work progress;
  • Supporting the development of some POP materials, taking care of their shipping to salesforce.

2°)

  • Supporting the In Store Promotion team in conceptualizing and developing creative POP materials;
  • Interacting with external agencies and helping salesforce in defining in-store activations;
  • Managing and revising the new In Store platform, helping salesforce to solve eventual digital issues;
  • Preparing monthly reports, presentations and documents useful to keep track of work progress;
  • Granting administrative support to Trade Marketing team (order entry exc.).

3°)

  • Supporting the Trade Spending and E-Commerce team in planning digital activities, relating directly with clients and being a touchpoint for the main digital materials;
  • Carrying out Sell-Out/Sell-In analyses in order to gain insights to be shared internally and reworking databases according to different assigned clients;
  • Checking if promotional plans have been correctly implemented by every point of sales (f.i. by leaflet analyses);
 

Your team:

These positions report directly to the Category Managers of Bolton Food. There are no direct reports for these roles, but you will work closely with different departments.

 

How you look like:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Economics;
  • Previous short experience in structured/multinational companies is preferable, in particular a food marketing-related background;
  • Good knowledge of IT systems such as Suite OFFICE MS Excel, Office;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Being passionate and strongly interested in food products/trends;
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to plan own work according to priorities and urgencies;
  • Able to collect and critically interpret data and numbers to ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement and excellence in execution;
  • A proactive and fast learner keen to evolve, challenging himself/herself daily in order to reach excellence and focus on customers and stakeholders satisfaction;
  • A fully accountable and people-oriented team player able to instill trust and build meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • A dynamic and flexible professional capable to adapt swiftly and manage a fast moving and demanding environment.
