Production Development Specialist
We are looking for a Production Development Specialist to join our Engineering team within the Home Care, Personal Care and Beauty Business Unit at our plant in Nova Milanese, near Milan, Italy.
How you make the difference
The production development specialist is focused on managing capital investments aimed at guarantee the capability of plant technical assets to follow business needs.
You manage on field enginering projects of new plant infrastructures and machines or improving present equipment, ensuring these operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
How your agenda looks like:
• You will manage new investment projects (production lines development, process improvement, utilities, etc), supporting initiatives and coordinating suppliers from concept, implementation to start up, ensuring timely, safe and budgeted cost execution.
• You will lead process development activities, including feasibility analysis, contributing to manufacturing efficiency, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• As a part of HPC engineering team, you will collaborate with Nova Production, Maintenance and Procurement functions, to ensure smooth project execution, compliance with company standards and achievement of manufacturing performance targets.
Your team:
You will be part of multi-site engineering team and report directly to the HC engineering mgr.
You will work in close connection with different functions across the PSO perimeter, at plant level.
You will be part of a dynamic and cross-functional environment, requiring strong collaboration skills, stakeholder management, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
What makes you a great fit:
Education:
Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar
Work Experience:
• 1–3 years of experience in project management, product/production development, or industrialization roles within FMCG, Personal Care, or manufacturing environments

• Problem solving, proactivity
• Teamwork, ownership, adaptability
Technical skills
• Basic understanding of plant utilities, industrial automation, and machinery mechanics
• Feasibility & cost analysis
• Project planning tools + manufacturing basics
• Excel – Autocad (SAP plus)

• Italian native
• Business English
