We are looking for a Controller with a strong focus on data to join the Controlling Department in our Adhesives Business Unit based in Netherlands.

How your agenda looks like:
- Drive Financial Performance: Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost-saving initiatives, process improvements, and strategic opportunities.
- Deliver Insightful Reporting: Create dashboards and reports that translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.
- Identify Business Trends: Dive into large datasets (e.g., sales, pricing, margins) to uncover patterns that guide commercial strategies.
- Automate for Efficiency: Lead and support automation initiatives using RPA (e.g., Power Automate) and advanced data tools to streamline financial reporting and routine processes.
- Integrate AI Capabilities: Explore and apply AI solutions (e.g., forecasting algorithms, intelligent reporting assistants) to enhance financial accuracy and foresight.
- Measure What Matters: Develop and refine KPIs and data-driven performance metrics across departments.
Your team:
You will report to the Controlling Director and work in close collaboration with the Controlling Team in the Adhesives Business Unit.
What makes you a great fit:
- Education: relevant master’s or bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Business Analytics or related field
- Work Experience: 2–5 years in a data-rich financial or controlling role, ideally with exposure to automation or digital tools.
- Technical & Digital Skills:
- Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), financial systems (SAP, Hyperion), and data analytics platforms (SQL, Python, or R).
- Hands-on exposure to RPA tools (e.g. Power Automate) for process automation.
- Interest in or experience with AI-powered financial applications, such as predictive modeling, anomaly detection, or machine learning-based forecasting.
- Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive problem-solving.
- Local language: preferable
